One MBZ-15, three calibers, one swap of the bolt carrier group. The 5.56 and 300 BLK barrels run on the rifle’s bolt carrier group; you pick the third barrel, 6.5 Grendel or 6mm ARC, and its own bolt carrier group comes in the box.

The parts we chose
The upper receiver is machined from billet aluminum 7075 aerospace grade, with a double-thickness wall around the barrel nut, and the lower is a billet receiver engraved with the MBZ logo. The 5.56 HBAR and 300 BLK barrels are Ballistic Advantage Modern Series, 4150 chrome-moly vanadium with a QPQ nitride finish, 1:7 twist, mid-length gas. The 6.5 Grendel and 6mm ARC barrels are Ballistic Advantage Premium Series SPR profiles in 416R stainless, 1:8 and 1:7 twist. The trigger is a RISE Armament RAVE 140 Flat, single stage, about 3.5 lb, with a flat black blade and anti-walk pins. The bolt carrier groups are side-charging units, so the charging handle sits on the right side of the receiver where your hand already is.

The rifle, the two barrel kits, the second bolt carrier group and the extra magazine add up to the price shown crossed out above. The bundle price is what you pay.
Who it’s for
You already know what your days at the range look like. The 5.56 HBAR is the barrel for training and volume, the 300 BLK is the one you put on for short range and suppressed work, and the third barrel is yours to choose: 6.5 Grendel if deer and hogs are on the calendar, 6mm ARC if you want the flattest shooting of the three at longer range. The three fit the same rifle, and you decide which one goes in the case.
How it works
Each barrel kit carries its own MBZ Barrel Adapter, gas block and gas tube. Swap the barrel, and swap the bolt carrier group when you go to the Grendel or ARC barrel; your optic stays on the receiver. Want a different mix? Build your own from the MBZ-15 page.
