The MBZ Barrel Adapter is the threaded collar (our barrel nut) that locks a barrel into the MBZ upper receiver. Sold alone, with its spanner wrench, for shooters who want to prepare their own barrel for the MBZ system.

How it works
Every MBZ Barrel Kit ships with its Adapter already mounted. Buy the Adapter alone when you want to mount a barrel of your own choice: fit the Adapter on the barrel, slide the barrel into the receiver, snug the Adapter with the spanner wrench and give it a light tap. No torque wrench, no gunsmith. Recheck the Adapter when you clean the rifle.
Good to know
The MBZ Barrel Adapter fits the MBZ threaded upper receiver only. It does not fit a standard AR-15 upper. When you mount a barrel that was not prepared by MBZ, you are responsible for its gas system, muzzle device and headspace. If you want a barrel ready to swap, choose an MBZ Barrel Kit instead.
